First and foremost, i thank God for you and for visiting our page, you truly are a blessing to us and others! Im Ben Merritt, Creator, Founder and CEO of Buckets&BlessingLLC. My mission here is simple, Use Gods blessings in my life as he continues to use me, to bless others for his Glory, Honor and Praise! I am blessed to announce that I am a 6 year Overseas, successful professional basketball player and have won 2 Professional championships! Ive played in countries such as America 🇺🇸, Canada 🇨🇦 , United Kingdom 🇬🇧 , El Salvador 🇸🇻 , Bolivia 🇧🇴 and Peru 🇵🇪! However, my path and career hasn’t been the easiest, but to God be the Glory, and through the power of prayer, that process helped me build this ministry today called “Buckets&Blessings”. I call it a ministry because we are more then just a basketball consulting company, i personaly help mentor players with everyday life situations or dealing with some of the hardship that players endure thorough out a season overseas, not publicly known! For clients, It’s always refreshing to hear someone who’s been through those struggles before, and i know my testimony has helped motivated and inspire other players who have the talent, but thought playing professionally was impossible!

In my past, Ive had agents ruin contract opportunities for me by pressing for too much from teams, I’ve had agents promise things that never happened, Ive had fake agents looking to make a quick 10% of a contract I’ve acquired myself or already had, Ive had scammers send me fake contracts and asking me to pay them for service to accept and ran off on me after payments have been made, but to God be the Glory for these situations that concurred because it taught me the reality of the basketball industry and business and grew my faith and prayer life in God as he showed me what not to do. He’s blessed me over the years to built my connections tremendously in Latin America and Europe, placing people across my path who were genuinely looking for someone of my talents and potential.  As i began networking, reaching out to coaches, teams, agents and organizations to find my next contracts, I saved every bit of information and kept good statuses with the relationships & friendships I’ve gained within the industry. Because of my good reputation in a industry so devious, many of the my connections made, now frequently ask me if i know or can connect them with other good character players, other then my position, for potential signings. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ as this helped birthed, this company, this testimony, and this ministry!

 

Every Struggle I’ve been through only made me pray harder and have more faith in God, that if i am living righteously for him, than “I can all do ALL things through Christ, Which Strengthens Me” (Philippians 4:13).

However,  “Faith without works is, dead” (James 2:26) so after praying every morning and night for the guidance in searching for my next opportunity, I’d go work for what im praying for, reaching out to hundreds of organizations, countless hours in the gym,  with the faith God is going to bless me, while making my best efforts to live correctly for his Honor, Glory and Praise.
